Do you have little ones? Are you always on the lookout for creative themed birthday party ideas? If so you will go wild over this upcycled safari party. With giraffe paper towel rolls and camo toilet roll binoculars, everyone is sure to have fun spotting wildlife. Box Play for Kids is a really cool company that make eco-friendly stickers that repurpose commonly found boxes, cartons and tubes into new toys. They are sponsoring our latest giveaway, an upcycled safari party. Read on to find out how to win.
How to plan your upcycled safari party
This upcycled safari is all about creative play. Creative play means using familiar materials in news ways. Box Play for Kids are giving 2 lucky winners the necessary materials for a rocking fun upcycled safari party. Each winner will get 10 sets of giraffe stickers and 10 sets of binocular stickers.
When the kids arrive let them make their own binoculars as a party activity. All you’ll need are toilet paper rolls, rubber bands and some binocular stickers. The best part is the kids can take their binoculars home. What would have been trash is transformed into interactive party favours!
You can then choose to either let the kids make the giraffe paper towel rolls, or otherwise prep these in advance. A fun game would be to divide the kids into 2 groups making some the adventurers and the others the giraffes. They can take turns finding one another in a variation on hide and seek!
We love this bonus tip from Janette at Box Play for Kids. Instead of buying a box cake, she suggests creating a memorable and inexpensive cake using an edible image such as this antique compass cake.
We think this upcycled safari party would be outrageously fun. If you live in the US you can stand a chance to win 10 sets of giraffe stickers and 10 sets of binocular stickers. There are 2 safari party kits up for grabs.
