Happy Easter! Are you looking for decor and gift ideas? We love using glass jars for DIY Easter decorations and Easter gifts. You can use mason jars, jam jars, click top pots and more. It’s easy to find jars to upcycle and these Easter crafts look great. Here’s a round-up of our favorite Easter jar ideas.
Easter Mason Jars
To make Easter mason jars add grass to the bottom of your jar (you can repurpose shredded papers for this!) Press the grass into a nest shape and then nestle your bunny in. Add candy eggs to complete the vignette in your Easter candy jar. Finish the look with a ribbon and paper topper.

Easter Candy Jars
Another idea for decorating Easter mason jars is to make bunny peepholes. For this upcycle you will need vinyl stickers and chalky finish paint. Place the stickers on the outside of the jars and apply a coat of chalky paint. Allow the paint to dry and then carefully peel off the stickers. Add a lace trim and you’re good to gift! You can also do this upcycle idea with hearts for Valentine’s Day.

Succulent Planters
Not all Easter decorations need to involve chocolate. These lovely succulent planters are also made from mason jars. Paint the bottom third of the jar with acrylic craft paint for a dipped look. Then add rocks to the bottom of the jar and top with soil. Plant your succulents and admire your new planters.

Easter Gift Jars
Glue a bunny figurine onto the top of a jar and then spray the lid (and figure). Allow to dry and them cram your jar with treats.

Bunny Candy Jars
These bunny candy jars are adorable! In order to make them, cut a vinyl circle and stick it onto your jar. Then paint over the sticker with chalk paint and allow it to dry. We suggest 2-3 coats of paint. Next, make the bunny whiskers with wire, and then cut bunny ears out of felt. Hot glue a piece of wire to the bottom of your felt ears so that the ears stand straight and then glue them onto the top of your jar. Hot glue on a pom-pom on for the tail.

Chick, Bunny, Duck Easter Mason Jars
Sometimes it’s the simplest ideas that are the best. We love these sweet and simple, chick, bunny and duck jars. You can draw the faces on with permanent markers or glue on paper cut-outs.

Easter Flower Jars
Flowers are a great way to brighten your home for Easter. You can make these flower jars by painting mason jars with chalky paint. Finish the look with a sticker or make a sticker with washi tape, freezer paper and decoupage.

What a sweet idea for Easter. Thank you for sharing.
such cute ideas, the first is my fave, like a bunny snow globe with the faux grass and eggs.
I love using fabric bags for gift giving, but jars need to be a go too as well!
